For those of you wondering where I've been this past week, I have a good alibi. Our little girl, Elise Violet, was born this past Monday. Click here for the hospital photo.

I meant to post this a while back, but I haven't had the chance until now. At the baby shower, my sister-in-law gave us a nice bunch of infant diapers formed into a couple of two-layer cakes, as a sort of tibute to Elise's dad being a baker.



I thought it was kind of ingenius, personally. Anyway, I'm working on a couple of articles right now that I'm hoping to finish shortly. One is on chocolate (a little late for Valentines Day, but better that than never, right?) and the other is on maple syrup. If we can manage to get Elise to sleep through the night eventually, then maybe I can finish them up for you.
